Our literature offerings include several courses that are taught every semester, including British, American, and World Lit, and some that are offered on a rotating basis, including Women's literature, Shakespeare, the Bible as Literature, Mythology, Film and Literature, and various thematic fiction, poetry, and drama courses.

Students from all disciplines can take these courses after they have completed English 101. Some of these classes are required for the English major at various transfer schools. Visit the Transfer Center to learn more about our major!  There are several careers to explore with English as major.  Visit our Career and Job Services Center and make an appointment to meet with a specialist!
